Lake
Mäntylahti, located in Ukraine, is a big man-made bay inside the natural island. Bottom in the bay itself is muddy and water is dark, in other places water is relatively clear. Water plants are growing along all coasts. Nearby power station makes water level, direction and strength of streams absolutely unpredictable.
Fishing
This place is one of the best known icefishing places in Ukraine. Main trophies are perch, roach, sabrefish, zander and various breams. In springtime, when roaches are on a spawning run, they are easy to catch and could surprise you with their decent size.
