Lake
Viitalampi is a small but still reasonably clearwatered pond. It is mostly shallow and the shoreline is heavily weeded. Waterplants occure widely also under the surface.
Fishing
Most typical fish to catch from Viitalampi is a small perch, ruffe or roach. Roach population is increasing, propably due to eutrophication. Lots of pikes exist for the same reason, but bigger ones are rarely seen in wintertime.
