Lake
Lake Räväjärvi is quite deep and diverse in shape. It has streaming places, narrows and deep spots. Water is clear, even the area is surrounded by swamp. The swamp around has many ponds and lakes, where the water color is significantly darker.
Fishing
Fish species in the lake are very typical, but when you happen to locate the whitefish, fish bag will get weight fast. Occasionally a lucky fisherman can get a trout or even a grayling. Fish can be cautious in the clear water so patience is sometimes needed to get them.

Where to start on Räväjärvi
- A fairly deep and winding waterway with flowing water, narrow straits and deeps. The water is fairly clear.
- On the depth map the darkest shades (deepest water) are in the southern part, the lightest (shallowest) in the north-eastern part and northern part.
- In clear water the fish can be shy. When whitefish turn up, the catch grows quickly.
- Shallower water: perch, roach, pike. Deeper water: whitefish, smelt, trout. If nothing bites, change the depth first and only then the spot.
