Lake

Kuopionlahti is a bay located in front of a town Kuopio. The bay belongs to a bigger lake Kallavesi. Watercolor is quite clear and the place contains both shallows and deeps. Water currents have an effect to fish and ice type, especially on narrow places.

Most typical fish is a small perch - optimal for local traditional fish-bread "Kalakukko". Bigger perch are more challenging to find, but are sometimes found from open and deep places. Some places are stacked with roach and also pikes. Zander and Trout, on the other hand, are more rare.
