Lake
Hossalaislammet consists of two deep-edged ponds with sandy ridges around them. Water is crystal clear and visibility is excellent. Despite of small size of the lakes, the water can keep its cool temperature also during summer months, providing good conditions for the rainbow trout.
Fishing
Smaller pond is maintained with regular fish plantings, so the catch should be pretty sure there. The bigger lake has been left without plantings for some time, but evidently there are some fish left. Some of them have grown remarkably big. Bright water have significant effect on the proper lure selection.

- Two small, steep-shored and crystal-clear ponds. The smaller pond is fairly sure to give fish, the bigger has fewer fish, but some have grown large.
- On the depth map the darkest shades (deepest water) are in the eastern part and western part, the lightest (shallowest) in the northern part and north-western part.
- In clear water the fish are picky about the lure, so change the jig if one does not work.
- Shallower water: roach. Deeper water: ruffe, whitefish. If nothing bites, change the depth first and only then the spot.
